HOW ARE VISKRINGS MADE
Viskrings are made from extruded cellulose produced from wood pulp derived from renewable resources. Because they are made of cellulose, the seals are fully bio-degradable when they are discarded by your customer. The extruded tubing is cut into individual seals which are delivered in a lay-flat condition.Viskrings are also known as Celons, Sleevers, Shrink Sleeves.
PACKAGING
The seals are packed into a plastic bag within a seamed metal tin or into plastic pails. The container holds the seals in a mild preservative solution.
STORAGE AND HANDLING
Viskrings are guaranteed for 12 months provided the delivery container remains un-opened.
Do not store the seals in sub-zero temperatures as this damages them.
Opened containers should be re-sealed if the seals are to be un-used for any length of time.
Do not use water to dilute the preservative solution as this will introduce a risk of bio-degradation.
